This was a project we undertook to return a grand old house which had been used as offices for the previous forty years, back into a single residential dwelling.
Since its Use Class was to change from Commercial to C3 Residential, the building was required to be brought up to Building Regulation standards.
Working closely with the LABC we achieved the thermal standards, externally. We stripped the roof, added insulation board above the sarking boards and replaced the tiling using a system of battens and counter battens.
We insulated the walls externally using a system of insulation boards which could accept a modern breathable render.
Our thanks go to the owners who allowed us the privilege of working on this beautiful Edwardian house to turn it back into what it was originally built for.
